Women wearing to much make up look like s***** walkers, not attractive and very repulsive. Even women wearing makeup like shades, shadows and liners, do not naturally beautiful but rather painted beauties.
A woman, who doesn't wear any make up looks a naturally beautiful, simple and attractive in her own way getting a second glance automatically from men, an appreciation of her beauty. You know, black is also beautiful, so colour of face or body does not matter in judging the beauty of the woman.For men, question makeup on women?
I'm a woman and I have my own response:
1. For a woman who wears a lot/too much make-up: trying too hard or just plain trampy.
2. For a woman who uses just enough to highlight/emphasize key areas: nice, clean, and usually very natural looking.
3. For the woman who goes without: Depends. If she is otherwise clean and has a good face, I would think she doesn't like it too much or has enough natural beauty to get away without it. The ones who don't and probably would benefit from a little bit oomph -- just lazy most of the time.
Wearing or not wearing makeup is a personal preference but I think most women look better wearing a little than none at all. I wear it most of the time and make an effort to make it look good without being too much.
i've actually talked to boys about this so i'll tell you what they told me.
who wears (too much) makeup -
she must be self conscious, or not comfortable with her regular appearance, she looks bad - this is unattractive
who wears a small amount of makeup -
just wants to look good, she looks natural - this is attractive

Why do so many men seem to wear dresses, heels, wigs, and makeup for costume parties and Halloween ? I wonder?
if a lot of guys are just jealous of all the pretty things we get to wear ?
Lately I have seen more men in French Maids uniforms than women! LOL!Why do so many men seem to wear dresses, heels, wigs, and makeup for costume parties and Halloween ? I wonder?

I don't think all guys are jealous of the pretty things girls get to wear, but I'm sure some of them are %26amp; I think some men just enjoy the sexy things that women get to wear %26amp; want to dress-up too. Plus, I think it's just as much fun for a guy to dress-up in a French Maids uniform as a girl too.

The other time was in the middle of the year wearing a pink blouse, skirt, and navy pumps with rosettes on them. Another time I told the mail lady that I just bought a dress and she came in the next day to see me with it on. She loved it and was shocked that I had breasts.
You have the full on cross dressers who are scared to dress in public that wait till Halloween. Some guys are just curious and want to try it once. Other guys are jealous of the pretty things. The French Maid uniforms are worn because the guys want to be submissive to a strong woman.

He even gets french manis (short cut). It really looks good. My girlfriends thought it was ';gay'; at first but they all agree he looks great with it on. The trick is to keep it natural so it highlights your natural features - i.e. - don't go with heavy mascara, a light coat will do.

I was going to go shopping soon for some men's makeup, and I had a few questions on what to look for. I know I want a concealer, a contour, and a setting/blotting powder. Also, I can't do eye liner/eye shadow because my school wouldn't let me. (I got to a private high school). So here are the questions:
1. Should I get two concealers, with warm and cool undertones, for redness and eyes, and light scaring?
2. Can a makeup attendant at a makeup store match my skin tone for the proper color of makeup, as well as recommend what types of makeup I should use?
3. Should I purchase my makeup in a ';kit'; made for men? Or should I purchase the products separately?
4. What brushes do I need?
5. I'm not sure if I should use a bronzer and/or clear mascara. What do you think?
6. Are there any other products I might need?

Hey there. I'm 15 and i've been wearing makeup for about 2 years. You don't really need a makeup ';Designed'; for men. Make-Up is make-up, doesn't matter if it's on a woman's face or a man's. As for me, i wear Revlon stuff most off the time. :)
1. Depends on how bad your redness is. You don't really need anything for your eyes unless you have under eye circles, if so, then dab a bit of concealer that's a little bit lighter than your skin tone and blend in. Care full though, you don't wanna look cakey. (Where it is obvious you are wearing makeup....not attractive. lol)
2. Of course they can, that's what they're there for.
3. Like i said, theres hardly any much difference between ';Mens'; make-up and ';Womens'; make-up. But you're best bet is to buy a kit. buying everything separately is more expensive. Where a kit tries to save you some money.
4. This depends on what your using. If your going to be wearing foundation, then use a foundation brush, if you're going to be using powder, then buy a powder brush too. Pretty much, when you buy brushes, just buy the brushes that will help you with what you already wear. For good quality brushes, you may want to purchase some MAC brushes. They're a bit expensive, but they last very long and do not shed (get the little hairs of the brush on you're face.)
5. If you want to, go ahead, You may want to buy yourself a bronzer/blush brush for that though, since the applicators that come with the product usually suck. haha. For the mascara, make sure to go with clear. Getting black, or dark brown etc. may make some people think negatively of you.
6. Not really. You should be good with concealer, bronzer, maybe a little mascara is good, and foundation. only if you're skin is really bad though. :)
Oh! and if you get foundation go with liquid, it looks ALOT more even and natural than cream. :)

It's all about presentation. You'll want to look your best and more beautiful when you're competing against other people. Besides you do want to look great when there are thousands of photographers taking photos of you holding up your Olympic medal right? =)

I'm going to start wearing makeup soon hopefully. I want to get concealor, foundation, and setting powder. I also planned on contouring and highlighting my nose with an eyeshadow duo, and wearing bronzer using the 3 like shape, and i wanted to get some clear gel mascara, and possibly fill in my eyebrows.

No insult intended to anyone, but to the straight men, it does seem a bit odd and I can not ever recall any men who were not flamboyant gays wearing eyeliner. But to each their own.Why do some women like men who wear makeup like eyeliners?

im a 19 year old men . My top eyelashes are dark brown but the bottom ones are blonde and it looks weird. And i want to try my moms mascara to fix them. But it says waterproof. so will i be able to take it off? and how would i go about this?

I would say go to a drug store, walmart, or target and buy some brown mascara and maybe a dark brown kohl liner. Waterproof mascara comes off but it's that way so if you tear up or anything it won't drip and leave trails and whatnot. Since you're not planning on doing a whole lot, I'd suggest buying make up removal wipes. Maybelline have some and so does MAC. It's a gentle formula for the eyes so you can just wipe off your lashes and the liner that you plan on using and just be done with it.Im a men and i want to try mascara %26amp; makeup?
i would tell you to try the mascara. but make sure that you're not using dark black, go for a brown color. i think you should try that first, and then decide if you want to wear eyeliner. about the infection thing, i was always told not to share makeup, so maybe you want someone to go buy some solely for you.

you should go and buy some brown mascara and eyeliner. coat your top and bottom lashes and add some eyeliner. if you like the look perhaps some eyeshadow. i think men wearing makeup or wearing womans clothes are so sexy

LESS IS MORE. I wear makeup but only to even out my skin tone, and put a little colour in my face and bring out my eyes. BELIEVE ME BOYS!!!! All those hot babes in hollywood - like Jessica Alba or Eva Longoria wear makeup - naturally looking makeup but they do wear it. Makeup should never look like makeup that is the trick.
NEVERTHELESS too much makeup doesn't look good. But a little is okay. My makeup is quick to apply and looks natural. Makeup should only be used to accent or emphasize who you already are, and highlights your most beautiful features while hiding your flaws. AND some women could desperately use makeup, I don't know how they can walk out the door. That to me says they just don't care about how they look, and that is pure laziness. Woman can wear makeup they just need to learn how to apply it and what works best for them, less is more and it doesn't have to take an hour applying makeup can be as quick as 5-10 minutes a day.

For work: You want to just look polished.
Out on the town: Glam it up
But still do what works for you and what makes you feel comfortable. Always remember 'Less is more', I don't know how much I can stress this.

NEVERTHELESS too much makeup doesn't look good. But a little is okay. My makeup is quick to apply and looks natural. Makeup should only be used to accent or emphasize who you already are, and highlights your most beautiful features while hiding your flaws. AND some women could desperately use makeup, I don't know how they can walk out the door. That to me says they just don't care about how they look, and that is pure laziness. Woman can wear makeup they just need to learn how to apply it and what works best for them, less is more and it doesn't have to take an hour applying makeup can be as quick as 5-10 minutes a day.

Ive been wearing makeup since high school and had grown pretty accustomed to it being the second thing I did after my morning shower (having a cup of coffee being the first thing).
My man and I have been seeing each other for a year now and things could not be better. Two nights ago, he asked if it was ok that he work a few extra hours, would I be ok alone, I said sure.
I used the few hours wisely and pampered myself to the point of falling asleep. The opening of our bedroom door is what woke me and I didn't have time to ';put on my face'; before he walked through the door.
The look on his face was total shock. He even asked if I'd been crying because my eyes appeared so small. So I lied and said yes, I was crying at a movie I was watching on tv, then I walked into the bathroom to re-apply my makeup.
I couldn't believe that after coming out of the bathroom his first reply BEFORE kissing was ';now, thats better';

well sometimes to get eye makeup off you have to rub your eyes and so they look red and stuff an then the racoon eyes and its not attractive.heres what iwould do.the night before throughly remove your eye makeup with something gentle and then wash your face maybe do a face mask and the whole moisturizing shebang and then the next day wash your face with a gentle cleanser and make sure you moisturize well then apply maybe some light light powder just to even ur skintone out and then some natural tint mascara and see what he thinks oh and some cherry chapstick it ints looks ggreat

Awww that's kind of harsh but I understand, Ive been there before. If he's never seen you without makeup its a little strange. Sometimes if you don't wear it one day, people don't even know what it is about you but ';something'; is different. I wouldn't worry about it too much but I would sit him down casually and tell him about it. If it really hurt your feelings than take a more serious approach but I don't think he meant it in a truly mean way. Besides! He's your man! well sometimes to get eye makeup off you have to rub your eyes and so they look red and stuff an then the racoon eyes and its not attractive.heres what iwould do.the night before throughly remove your eye makeup with something gentle and then wash your face maybe do a face mask and the whole moisturizing shebang and then the next day wash your face with a gentle cleanser and make sure you moisturize well then apply maybe some light light powder just to even ur skintone out and then some natural tint mascara and see what he thinks oh and some cherry chapstick it ints looks ggreat

Awww that's kind of harsh but I understand, Ive been there before. If he's never seen you without makeup its a little strange. Sometimes if you don't wear it one day, people don't even know what it is about you but ';something'; is different. I wouldn't worry about it too much but I would sit him down casually and tell him about it. If it really hurt your feelings than take a more serious approach but I don't think he meant it in a truly mean way. Besides! He's your man! What you need is to go to the makeup counters at your local shopping centre and ask for help there. Usually they will try the makeup on you so you can make sure it's the look you want to go for. I would definitely get some foundation to even out your tone and I think some gold or bronze colours would look great with your skin tone

then use a basic foundation i use maybelline mineral powder just dip the brush in the powder and shake off the extra and basically buff your face with it OR you can use a liquid foundation try true match or really any youd like and dab a little on your fingers and rub them together to warm it up a bit and apply evenly to your face
then find a nice black eyeliner and line your top lash line and the outside half of your bottom then smear it a bit so it doesnt look as harsh
then grab a cream eyeshadow (revlon has some really good ones) and swipe it on your eyelid with your finger i would go for a brown gold tone it will compliment your skin color
then apply some lip gloss and a coat of black mascara

It is good, even to get a feel of what shades work for you. They are really helpful.

I think make-up is a choice by most people. I know men who wear it. (Elvis wore make up) and women who don't. It is a way to make ourselves feel better about our appearance. To feel pretty, if you will. For guys ( and some girls) it like putting a new suit. Your just sprucing yourself up. I for one would not mind walking around all day in full on KISS make-up just for the hell of it. Everything we do is a choice. No one is robot. The devil can't make you do anything. Only the little voice in your head makes you do things.
I don't wear any makeup. For pictures, last June, I put some mascara on and a little lipstick and that was the last time I did that.
So, yes. It is a choice. I go everywhere without makeup.
If a man asked me out, I might do the lashes and lips again.

i was brainwashed in school to Always be Yourself, do resist peer preasure, and that Honesty is the Best Policy. and i thought makeup was dishonest and giving in to peer pressure and hides your true self.
after college i learned to put on makeup, and i expected *men* to like me better, but instead women liked me better! a lot better! i was rude to them at first because i thought ';b*tch, you only like me when i wear makeup?'; but then i read a study how people like attractive faces better, and realized i did too, so i forgave them. men don't notice my makeup because they don't look at the *face* as often.
i still don't wear makeup most of the time, but that's because i look ok without it. but if i go out with people i make sure to put concealer on a few spots and to use blush.
i experimented with it, and i find women like me better when i use blush, men like me better when i use a little lip gloss, and eye shadow on me doesn't affect people one way or another unless it is really ugly, in which case everyone is really rude to me and i have a terrible time.
what worries me is that plastic surgery is becoming mandatory. i'll dye my hair or whiten my teath when i get older, but i will not have needles stuck in my face, no thank you! but what about any daughters i will have? will they NEED to get a nose job to have the pefect nose and be considered social freaks if they don't? most american women i know had surgery.
i think men are lucky as they are judged by their accomplishemts and they can focus on that, and would be looked down on if they spend too much time on their looks!
when i was a stupid high school kid i hated the girls who spent hours in front of the mirror, i thought ';how can you accomplish anything in life when all you do is puton makeup so much time?'; but now i learned that unless you attain leadership, nothing in life is more important than anything else, and spending hours a day making hair and makeup is just as good as spending hours a day playing a musical instrument -- makeup or music, it is all just time spent in the long run.

I have had the same job for over 8 years...in the early days I would come in with no makeup on and I was fine with it. Then one day I came in with make up on and a female coworker make a snide comment about how I must have a date or something cause I never wear makeup. Just to spite her I wore makeup everyday after that. Now its just habit. I still dont wear much...just a few basics...but I would feel really uncomfortable without it now. I would feel like I wasnt wearing a bra or something.

i dont usually wear make up- only a tiny bit if i do.

I think make-up is a choice by most people. I know men who wear it. (Elvis wore make up) and women who don't. It is a way to make ourselves feel better about our appearance. To feel pretty, if you will. For guys ( and some girls) it like putting a new suit. Your just sprucing yourself up. I for one would not mind walking around all day in full on KISS make-up just for the hell of it. Everything we do is a choice. No one is robot. The devil can't make you do anything. Only the little voice in your head makes you do things.
I don't wear any makeup. For pictures, last June, I put some mascara on and a little lipstick and that was the last time I did that.
So, yes. It is a choice. I go everywhere without makeup.
If a man asked me out, I might do the lashes and lips again.
But, I sure don't mind people seeing me without it.

i was brainwashed in school to Always be Yourself, do resist peer preasure, and that Honesty is the Best Policy. and i thought makeup was dishonest and giving in to peer pressure and hides your true self.
after college i learned to put on makeup, and i expected *men* to like me better, but instead women liked me better! a lot better! i was rude to them at first because i thought ';b*tch, you only like me when i wear makeup?'; but then i read a study how people like attractive faces better, and realized i did too, so i forgave them. men don't notice my makeup because they don't look at the *face* as often.
i still don't wear makeup most of the time, but that's because i look ok without it. but if i go out with people i make sure to put concealer on a few spots and to use blush.
i experimented with it, and i find women like me better when i use blush, men like me better when i use a little lip gloss, and eye shadow on me doesn't affect people one way or another unless it is really ugly, in which case everyone is really rude to me and i have a terrible time.
what worries me is that plastic surgery is becoming mandatory. i'll dye my hair or whiten my teath when i get older, but i will not have needles stuck in my face, no thank you! but what about any daughters i will have? will they NEED to get a nose job to have the pefect nose and be considered social freaks if they don't? most american women i know had surgery.
i think men are lucky as they are judged by their accomplishemts and they can focus on that, and would be looked down on if they spend too much time on their looks!
when i was a stupid high school kid i hated the girls who spent hours in front of the mirror, i thought ';how can you accomplish anything in life when all you do is puton makeup so much time?'; but now i learned that unless you attain leadership, nothing in life is more important than anything else, and spending hours a day making hair and makeup is just as good as spending hours a day playing a musical instrument -- makeup or music, it is all just time spent in the long run.
for me, makeup is totally a choice, but i can see how some girls with bad skin who might be secretaries or managers whould *have* to wear makeup every day, but men in their position would not.
I never wear makeup because I am naturally lovely without it, but if my husband expressed a particular desire for me to wear it I would probably give it a go. It's not something he has ever expressed any interest in though.
Personally, I think it is a matter of personal choice. My mother always wore makeup, even though my father didn't particularly care for it : ';Why do you always have to put all that claggy muck on your face?'; he used to grumble. She continued to put it on almost up until the day of her death, which was ten years after my father died. it was just something she did because she liked it.

I have had the same job for over 8 years...in the early days I would come in with no makeup on and I was fine with it. Then one day I came in with make up on and a female coworker make a snide comment about how I must have a date or something cause I never wear makeup. Just to spite her I wore makeup everyday after that. Now its just habit. I still dont wear much...just a few basics...but I would feel really uncomfortable without it now. I would feel like I wasnt wearing a bra or something.
For me, going a day without makeup isn't a huge deal. I think you have to be comfortable with who you are, otherwise makeup is just a coverup to try and be something you're not.
I chose not to wear makeup, I'm encourage by my dad not to do so because it causes a lot of damage to a person's face.

It's in their character. I used to have a husband who was really good looking and with great body. But, he is a jerk. Everytime he abuses me physically and verbally, he looked like a devil to me. Now, I'm married to a very nice man who is not good looking but he always calls me ';sweatheart'; and has this very nice soothing voice. He calms me down and he makes me laugh so hard. There are nights when he sleeps that I just kiss his face all over. For me, he is the best looking man in this cruel world.

My husband calls me beautiful when I'm in my natty pajamas with my hair all sticking up and not a bit of make-up on! Beauty really is inside, if you have a great personality, you'll look beautiful to people!

Wearing No makeup almost Scared the Crap Out Of My Man. Should I have Allowed Him To See Me Without It Before?
Ive been wearing makeup since high school and had grown pretty accustomed to it being the second thing I did after my morning shower (having a cup of coffee being the first thing).
My man and I have been seeing each other for a year now and things could not be better. Two nights ago, he asked if it was ok that he work a few extra hours, would I be ok alone, I said sure.
I used the few hours wisely and pampered myself to the point of falling asleep. The opening of our bedroom door is what woke me and I didn't have time to ';put on my face'; before he walked through the door.
The look on his face was total shock. He even asked if I'd been crying because my eyes appeared so small. So I lied and said yes, I was crying at a movie I was watching on tv, then I walked into the bathroom to re-apply my makeup.
I couldn't believe that after coming out of the bathroom his first reply BEFORE kissing was ';now, thats better';

Let him see you without it and if he doesn't like it you can tell him to get going..You don't need makeup to beautiful, he should love who you are on the inside as well!! I hope things go well!
Maybe he just thought you were upset and was socked to see that you were crying? (even though you weren't) If he thought that, he could still think your beautiful he just might have said now thats better because you ';weren't crying anymore';
On the other hand it could be because he just has never seen you like that it doesn't nessesarily mean he doesn't think you are attractive. But it shouldn't matter he should love you no matter what, with or without makeup. Maybe you should tell him the truth because if your gonna be together forever do you really want to spend hours pampering yourself before he sees you everytime? If he wants to break up with you then he is just shallow and you shouldn't be with someone like that. But im sure theres more than your looks that first got you too together think back to why he started to like you in the first place, beauty isn't everything there is a lot more to a relationship than that.
Good god, is he that shallow? Personally I have always like women without makeup, but that's something else. If he couldn't tell you were wearing makeup its all on him. Not like you cant tell. And if you have any ideas about making this a very very long relationship, he is going to find out how the real you looks eventually, if he can not deal with it, I think its better for you so you don't waste your time with such a shallow guy.

I wear a lot of makeup but my boyfriend always tells me I look beautiful without it and even if I dont Id still prefer him to say the other. Since youve been together for a year you should feel comfortable being yourself around each other and hello part of that will be him seeing you without makeup. I would say to him I like getting dolled up for you but sometimes I may not have time too or feel like taking a break from it. He needs to understand when he acts like a slob and his hair is messy its the same thing. :)
Your man may have been surprised simply because he had never seen you without your makeup. It would have been like if you had opened the door while you had avocado facecream and cucumbers on you face, doesn't mean he thought you were ugly, he was just surprised because it was unexpected.
At this point the proof will be in how he treats you from here on in. The fact is, if he truly loves you, he will stay with you regardless of makeup.
That being said, you may want to go lighter on the makeup, it does age the skin faster and believe it or not, I'm telling you this as a guy, a lot of us guys prefer girls with less makeup on.
I just met a girl this weekend and we went on our first date and she admitted to me she hadn't even taken a shower let alone put on makeup when I met her and approached her. So from here on in, whatever she does is gravy.

Maybe he just thought you were upset and was socked to see that you were crying? (even though you weren't) If he thought that, he could still think your beautiful he just might have said now thats better because you ';weren't crying anymore';
On the other hand it could be because he just has never seen you like that it doesn't nessesarily mean he doesn't think you are attractive. But it shouldn't matter he should love you no matter what, with or without makeup. Maybe you should tell him the truth because if your gonna be together forever do you really want to spend hours pampering yourself before he sees you everytime? If he wants to break up with you then he is just shallow and you shouldn't be with someone like that. But im sure theres more than your looks that first got you too together think back to why he started to like you in the first place, beauty isn't everything there is a lot more to a relationship than that.
Good god, is he that shallow? Personally I have always like women without makeup, but that's something else. If he couldn't tell you were wearing makeup its all on him. Not like you cant tell. I wear a lot of makeup but my boyfriend always tells me I look beautiful without it and even if I dont Id still prefer him to say the other. Since youve been together for a year you should feel comfortable being yourself around each other and hello part of that will be him seeing you without makeup. I would say to him I like getting dolled up for you but sometimes I may not have time too or feel like taking a break from it. He needs to understand when he acts like a slob and his hair is messy its the same thing. :)
Your man may have been surprised simply because he had never seen you without your makeup. It would have been like if you had opened the door while you had avocado facecream and cucumbers on you face, doesn't mean he thought you were ugly, he was just surprised because it was unexpected.
At this point the proof will be in how he treats you from here on in. The fact is, if he truly loves you, he will stay with you regardless of makeup.
That being said, you may want to go lighter on the makeup, it does age the skin faster and believe it or not, I'm telling you this as a guy, a lot of us guys prefer girls with less makeup on.

I think that wherever that pressure comes from is unfortunate for the woman who feels she has to obey it. Now I have nothing against makeup or the natural look. I just think that women have enough to worry about without having to look pretty everyday and going through the hassle to effect that. Makeup cannot be cheap, I am sure. The only thing I have against makeup is that after a woman wears it for so long, and one day decides to go without it, her natural face looks pale and unattractive. This is not saying she is naturally unattractive, she could be very attractive without it. i dont think they do. i think the natural look is so much better for the day. afterall why would anyone want to apply ten coats of mascara just to go to work? during the day i keep my make up natural and use a small amount of powder, a bit of eyeliner and lipgloss- i think thats enough.
but i do think its nice to have a bit more make-up on at night. i LOVE the smokey eyed look and i think men actuallly find it quite seductive.
however i hate it when i see these girls going out with bright orange skin. theyve obviously put a good few inches of foundation on and half of the time they dont actually need it. most of the time they are just insecure and trying to mask it, it doesnt work.
i think make-up suits some people and just doesnt suit others. its up to you how much make-up you wear, you know what suits you best.
