Yes this is to stop shine and to cover up blemishes.I used to work on a make up counter and we had a lot of male clients who were models or actors and they used concealors,foundation and powder.Also the make up artists use lighter versions that dont cake on a mans skin so you wouldnt really notice.Mind you some men tend to be rather too fond of fake tan which is really awful!
