as a man if you see a beautiful well groomed woman and tell her she is beautiful you run the big risk of her getting mad and accusing you of hitting on her.Why do women spend so much money on makeup to look good, but when men compliment them they get mad?
Because it depends on the way you say it like if you see a women you have never met and say she's beautiful of course they think your hitting on them why else would you randomly say that to some lady. If you are dating a women and you say she looks beautiful then she knows your not hitting on them since you are all ready on a date.Why do women spend so much money on makeup to look good, but when men compliment them they get mad?
I think usually it's like a thing. Like they're not really mad, they're only acting that way cause they think that's how they're supposed to act. Or they're afraid you're just saying that to get in their pants. Girls are perplexing creatures. Deep down they're happy you complimented them, assuming you did so not in a sleezy manner.
I totally agree with some of the answers if it is just some random person it is just a smidget creepy *you might want to be a little more subtle /ease into it(if you are actually hitting on her) *, if its someone you know its ok once in a while, but if its too often that's when it gets creepy again
Maybe when you whistle at them all time!! Augh that happens to me like every week and that's when i get pissed. I would like it if someone just came up to me and said that i was cute or something.
It's not everyday a man comes up to you to only tell you that you're beautiful without trying to get ';some of that';.
Because a stranger telling another stranger they are beautiful is a little awkward.
