Can makeup be used on a man to reduce the appearance of a beard?

I despise my facial hair. It is so thick and dark that even with a clean, smooth shave, I look like I have ';5 o'clock shadow.'; Could I use makeup to conceal my thick facial hair when it is cleanly shaved? If so, what would I use? I know basically nothing about makeup. Can makeup be used on a man to reduce the appearance of a beard?
You might consider something a little more drastic for hair removal. (gasp) Wax?Can makeup be used on a man to reduce the appearance of a beard?
You would have to use a theatrical makeup and then set it with a loose powder.

My suggestion would be to get either Cinema Secrets Foundation (www.camerareadycosmetics.com) or Ben Nye Foundation (www.bennye.com) and set it either with Cinema Secrets powder in Light Custard or Ben Nye in Banana (I believe that is the light yellow color). A regular foundation will not be pigmented enough, nor stand the day without slightly melting off. These brands are ment to be used on a movie/commercial set and will not melt under hot studio lights or long hour days.

Best of luck!
okay well all you will need is some basic concealer and compact powder these can be found at a local drugstore at the most 12 dollars now once you find your tone rub it in on the facial hairs make sure its dry then use the compact powder on just dab it on in the same spot as the concealer and its gone

good luck
