Is it a sin for a man to wear makeup?

If so, what about all of us emo boys with eyeliner? Are we damned forever? Probably. Nobody would care if we were. Don't worry. I will just sit here in the corner and right my dark black truthful poems. Is it a sin for a man to wear makeup?
no its coolIs it a sin for a man to wear makeup?
Paul instructs men to not dress like women and women not like men. The context of the entire scripture where this is found basically tells us to focus on inner beauty and not to worry about what we look like on the outside.

As a Christian, you aren't bound by rules so to speak, it's the purpose behind the things we do that are important. If your actually curious, the answer to the question could be found by asking yourself why you wear the eyeliner. If it's a statement of emotion, pretty sure J.C. is cool with that. If it's because you feel you have to wear it to avoid crushing your ego if you don't, then you probably want to reevaluate some personal values.

Hope that helps. Also, if you look into Christianity, you're not going to burn in hell for having long hair or not abiding by silly rules like wearing eyeliner. If a Christian ever tries to tell you that you will ';burn in hell'; for that, please don't judge Jesus on some of His ignorant followers.

Peace %26amp; Love
Why should it be a sin for a man to make himself more visually attractive? It's only natural, and it's behaviour that aims at attracting a mate.

Ask women what they're attracted to physically when they look at a man's face. Strong jawline, high cheekbones, long eyelashes... even waxing your eyebrows helps.
No. But then many not explicitly sinful things can have sinful uses (food, sex, alcohol, opioid, television, music, speech, etc.), so I would say it depends on your purpose. I don't know enough about emo boys to have an opinion there, though.
In other cultures, in the present and past, makeup and excessive accessories are a sign of masculinity.
Yes, unless you're alice cooper.
